Trend Report: Statement Red
Is there any better colour for a festive party dress than red? We don't think so. Here at Cari's Closet, we have so many fabulous red dresses that it's almost too hard to choose between them...can we have them all?
If you are looking for an elegant party dress, we love the Morgan dress. The asymmetric hem is flattering on the legs, whilst the ribbed waistline pulls you in. This dress is a striking twist on the classic mini dress.
This has to be one of our favourite dresses in the whole collection. The Bardot neckline and fishtail hem is so chic, and the lace detailing gives it a designer edge. The concealed zip helps to keep the dress streamlined.
This dress is fitted to the waist before it skims out, making it perfect for hiding any Christmas bloat. The long sleeves are perfect if you are self-conscious about your arms, and it's just an all-around winner.
If you're more of a burgundy kinda gal, we love the Taylor dress. The tiered skirt and fitted bodice create a figure-flattering silhouette, and the lace detailing is so intricate that it really makes for a stunning look.
Throw it back to the 80s with our amazing Sade mini dress. Featuring shoulder pads, long sleeves and ribbed detailing, it's a statement dress brought up to date with the plunge neckline and flattering hem. Shop Sade online.
Our Maria dress is similar to the Taylor with its lace detailing, but it is completely different thanks to the concealed zip and panelled bodice. If you're looking for a party dress which is as flattering as it is pretty, this is the one.
If you need something a little bit more dressy, the Victoria gown is perfect. It's basically a longer version of the Sade dress, with a statement split skirt, ribbed detailing and shoulder pads for a flattering look.
The lace dress of our dreams? Quite possibly. With a flattering midi length, a raw lace hemline and stunning ladder trim, the Alex dress has it all. Even if red isn't your colour (not possible) it also comes in lilac and blue. You can shop the Alex dress here.
